I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. the value for money was exceptional - the prices were affordable and I received great value for what I paid. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The hotel had a convenient location right by the main shopping area, making it easy to explore the city centre. Additionally, the basic amenities provided were excellent. The rooms were equipped with fridges, sofas, and a TV, making it a comfortable space to relax. The blankets provided were cozy, and I particularly enjoyed lounging in the room with the massive TV. Lastly, having breakfast included was a definite bonus, starting the day off on the right foot.

I had a great stay at Down Under Hostels. The location is fantastic, being close to the light rail station and surfers paradise. The staff were friendly and always advertised fun events and deals happening throughout the week. The common areas were clean and well-maintained, especially the kitchen which had plenty of space and facilities. The bathrooms and toilets were kept very clean as well. I had a positive experience and would recommend this hostel.

The attention to detail is evident in the comfortable beds, some even being doubles, which ensure a good night's sleep. The inclusion of a hot breakfast and free laundry facilities is a nice touch. Additionally, the good WiFi throughout the hostel and the allowance to consume your own alcohol are bonus features that add to the overall positive experience.

Rooms were disgustingly messy and crowded, with double beds on bunk beds and belongings everywhere. Long-term guests dominated the hostel and made short-term guests feel unwelcome.

We loved the hotel facilities, including the big and clean kitchen with all the necessary equipment and plenty of space. The common area was amazing, with iMacs and a TV. The game room was our favorite, with a PS4 and pool table. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the main street and the beach.
